Ecos de lo Nuevo del Señor

¡Estimada Comunidad de AETH!
De parte de todo el equipo, recibe nuestras felicitaciones para este 2024 y los mejores deseos de un nuevo tiempo para continuar alcanzando juntos metas para el Reino de Dios. Al acercarnos a esta porción de Isaías me detengo y reflexiono sobre la invitación contenida en el texto del poder transformador del Señor que nos convoca a lo siguiente:
- Vivir siempre a la expectativa de lo nuevo que hace el Señor.
- Estar vigilantes al continuo obrar de Dios en todo y por todos.
- Hacernos sensibles a Su intervención divina no importando las circunstancias.
Apalancados en esto, les comparto que en AETH estamos listos para un 2024 lleno de eso Nuevo que el Señor tiene para ti y toda nuestra comunidad. Y encaminados a esto, a continuación, les comparto un poco de los programas e iniciativas que durante este nuevo año estaremos lanzando y robusteciendo para continuar equipando a mujeres, hombres, congregaciones, denominaciones e instituciones educativas hispanas que se hacen parte de la comunidad AETH.
Centro Justo & Catherine Gonzalez
Mas allá de un lugar de encuentro, nuestro Centro es un acervo de recursos tanto físicos como virtuales que da a conocer las perspectivas y el legado latino proveyendo acceso digital a sus recursos; explora nuevas fronteras en la teología latina, y provee un fórum para personas comprometidas con el bienestar de las iglesias y comunidades latinas para explorar y desarrollar nuevas visiones y prácticas.
Predicación de Impacto
La iniciativa Predicación de Impacto (Compelling Preaching) busca nutrir a los predicadores y predicadoras latinos/as con el fin de mejorar la vitalidad congregacional y fortalecer el liderazgo pastoral para el ministerio holístico. A través de eventos intensivos de fin de semana y sesiones de aprendizaje entre pares en grupos pequeños dirigidas por expertos en el campo, los predicadores y predicadoras practicarán la creación y entrega de sermones que nutran una comunidad de fe próspera que pueda dar expresión a su fe en la vida diaria y en el compromiso cívico.
Certification Program
AETH es la única entidad reconocida por la ATS para certificar la calidad de los programas que brindan los institutos bíblicos y otros programas de desarrollo ministerial hispano. Este es un programa puente para institutos bíblicos hispanos y programas de formación ministerial, en el mismo, los institutos bíblicos hispanos son guiados a realizar un autoestudio de su propio instituto y revisar qué tan efectivas son sus operaciones internas y externas. Los Institutos Bíblicos Certificados y otros programas de formación ministerial se benefician porque ingresan a un círculo de instituciones que, por su calidad, pueden desarrollar convenios con seminarios o universidades y atraer más estudiantes.
Antioquia
Antioquia será un programa que crea lugares de reunión, virtuales y físicos, para que profesores, pastores, directores de institutos y líderes laicos activos reflexionen teológicamente sobre su trabajo en beneficio de la Iglesia. Antioquia también promoverá el desarrollo profesional, la formación en la enseñanza, el discernimiento espiritual y vocacional, además de la investigación colaborativa en forma de publicaciones y webinars. La programación de Antioquia irá desarrollando incluye eventos presenciales, reuniones en línea, capacitaciones de seminarios web asincrónicos a su propio ritmo, recursos descargables y oportunidades de establecer contactos para líderes religiosos latinos/hispanos, dentro y fuera de nuestra Red de Entidades Teológicas, mejor conocido como ReDET.

Espero puedas estar con nosotros de manera presencial o virtual el domingo, 28 enero a las 5:00 pm (AST) en el Servicio de Instalación y Consagración de esta servidora. último y no menos importante, te comparto este video para presentarte al equipo de trabajo que pone las manos en el arado todos los días para servirte mejor a ti y a nuestra comunidad.

Dear AETH Community!
On behalf of our entire team, we extend our best wishes for a strong 2024, along with our heartfelt wishes for a season of continued goal achievement for the Kingdom of God. As we delve into this portion of Isaiah, I take a moment to ponder the invitation embedded in the transformative power of the Lord’s message, beckoning us to:
- Embrace a perpetual state of anticipation for the new works the Lord is orchestrating.
- Remain vigilant to God’s ongoing activity, encompassing all aspects and every individual.
- Cultivate a sensitivity to His divine intervention no matter the circumstances.
Building on this foundation, I am pleased to share that at AETH, we stand prepared for a 2024 abundant with the ‘New’ that the Lord has in store for you and our entire community. With this in mind, I’d like to share a glimpse into the programs and initiatives we will be launching and reinforcing throughout this new year, designed to further equip Hispanic women, men, congregations, denominations, and educational institutions that join the AETH community.
Justo & Catherine González Center
More than just a meeting place, our Justo and Catherine Gonzalez Center is a collection of both physical and virtual resources that showcases Latino perspectives and heritage to theological work by providing digital access to its resources. It also explores new frontiers in Latino theology and provides a forum for people committed to the well-being of Latino churches and communities to explore and develop new visions and practices.
Compelling Preaching
The Compelling Preaching initiative seeks to nurture Latine preachers in order to enhance congregational vitality and strengthen pastoral leadership for holistic ministry. Through weekend events and small group peer-learning sessions led by experts in the field, men and women preachers will practice creating and delivering sermons that nurture a thriving faith community that can give expression to their faith in daily life and in civic engagement.
Certification Program
AETH is the only entity recognized by the ATS (Association of Theological Schools) to certify the quality of the programs provided by Bible institutes and other Hispanic ministry development programs. This is a bridge program for Hispanic Bible institutes and ministry training programs, in which Hispanic Bible institutes are guided to conduct a self-study of their own institute and review how effective their internal and external operations are. Certified Bible Institutes and other ministerial training programs benefit because they enter a circle of institutions that, due to their quality, can develop agreements with seminaries or universities and attract more students.
Antioquia
Antioquia is a soon to launch program that will create virtual and physical gathering places for professors, pastors, institute directors, and active lay leaders to reflect theologically on their work. Antioquia also promotes professional development, formation in teaching, spiritual and vocational discernment, and collaborative research in the form of publications and webinars. Antioquia’s programming includes in person events, online gatherings, self-paced-asynchronous webinar trainings, downloadable resources, and networking opportunities for Latino/Hispanic faith leaders inside and outside our Network of Theological Entities, better known as ReDET.
