Es candidata al ministerio pastoral de la Iglesias Bautistas de Puerto Rico. Nacida en un hogar cristiano y de familia humilde que ama a Dios por sobre todas las cosas. Por ese amor inculcado ama servir a los demás por medio de sus dones y talentos. Obtuvo un Bachillerato en Artes en Ciencias Sociales con concentración en Antropología Sociocultural de la Universidad de Puerto Rico, Recinto de Río Piedras y próximamente continuará estudios en Teología a nivel de maestría. Desde sus trece años sirve junto a su familia en la Primera Iglesia Bautista de Canóvanas en Puerto Rico, iglesia que la vió crecer y desarrollarse.
¿Qué le apasiona de su papel en AETH?
Su pasión es cambiar esos paradigmas sociales donde se cree que la Teología es solo para los eruditos y académicos. Con su trabajo quiere llevar la teología a toda aquella persona que tenga un deseo genuino por aprender más de Dios, sin importar sus títulos, o niveles académicos. Sabiendo y entendiendo que todos hacemos teología todos los días.
En su tiempo libre…
Le gusta ver series, ir al cine, tocar guitarra, cantar y viajar. Sobre todo, lo más que ama hacer es pasar tiempo con su familia y amigos.
Su libro favorito…
Además de la Biblia, uno de sus libros favoritos es “Divergent”. Es una novela de ciencia ficción, pero que encierra una realidad social muy marcada sobre nuestra humanidad y la belleza que encierra ser un ser humano pensante.
Una persona que le inspire…
Jesús es su inspiración y cada día procura parecerse más a Él.
Coralys Santos Saldaña is a candidate for pastoral ministry at the Puerto Rico Baptist Churches. Born into a Christian home and a humble family that loves God above all else. Through that instilled love, she is devoted to serving others through her gifts and talents. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences with a concentration in Sociocultural Anthropology from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus, and she is soon to continue her studies with a master in Theology. Since she was thirteen years old, she has served alongside her family at the First Baptist Church of Canóvanas in Puerto Rico, church where she grew up and matured.
What makes her passionate about her role at AETH…
Her passion is to change those social paradigms where it is believed that theology is only for scholars and academics. Through her work, she wants to bring theology to anyone who has a genuine desire to learn more about God, regardless of their titles or academic levels. Knowing and understanding that we all do theology every day.
In her spare time she…
Loves to watch series, go to the movies, play guitar, sing, and travel. But, overall, what she loves most is to spend time with her family and friends.
Her favorite book…
In addition to the Bible, one of her favorite books is “Divergent.” It’s a science fiction novel, but it encapsulates a very marked social reality about our humanity and the beauty of being a thinking human being.
