Nuestra anticipación para esta temporada de adviento comienza a principios de año. ¡Comenzamos a ver cosas que traen a la memoria este tiempo gozoso que pasamos con nuestra familia, orando, cantando, adorando y compartiendo las bendiciones, disfrutando de las muchas comidas juntos mientras conmemoramos el nacimiento del Niño Jesús!
La lectura de hoy de las Sagradas Escrituras no solo habla de cualquier niño o hijo, sino que se refiere al único “Dios Fuerte, Padre Eterno, Príncipe de Paz”.
¡Qué tremendo impulso de esperanza en cuanto a “justicia y rectitud desde ahora y para siempre!”
Quién más podría dar a la humanidad la esperanza que sería desde entonces y para siempre, sino Jesús, el Hijo del Dios Vivo, nacido de una virgen, tal como escribieron los profetas.
Porque un niño nos es nacido, hijo nos es dado, y el principado sobre sus hombros. Y se llamará Admirable, Consejero, Dios Fuerte, Padre Eterno, Príncipe de Paz. La grandeza de su gobierno y la paz no tendrán fin. Reinará sobre el trono de David y sobre su reino, afirmándolo y manteniéndolo con derecho y justicia desde ahora y para siempre. El celo del Señor Todopoderoso logrará esto.
Isaías 9:6-7
Ese cumplimiento de todo lo que escribieron los profetas iba a suceder en el tiempo exacto y correcto, un momento “Kairos” iba a ser como Pablo escribió: Pero cuando se cumplió el tiempo señalado, Dios envió a su Hijo, nacido de mujer, nacido bajo la ley. (Gálatas 4:4 NVI)
Como iglesia, reflexionemos sobre “Justicia y rectitud, reino de Dios”. ¿Cómo entendemos nuestros llamados a la luz de estos?
Haga que esta temporada de Adviento sea la mejor para usted, sus amigos y familiares. ¡Preparen sus corazones y sus hogares, comience con lo espiritual: la oración, y la adoración, comparta la alegría, prepare el calendario de adviento, el árbol y las luces! Y el Nacimiento en el pesebre. Encontremos tiempo para conversar sobre lo que estas cosas significan para nosotros hoy.
Cristo ha nacido: ¡Cristo viene!

First Week of Advent Season
Our anticipation for this advent season begins early in the year. We begin to see things that bring to memory this joyous time spent with our family, praying, singing, worshipping, and sharing the blessings, enjoying the many meals together as we commemorate the birth of the Christ Child!
Today’s reading from the Holy Scripture is not just talking about anyone child or son, but is referring to The one “Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”
What a tremendous thrust for hope as far as “justice and righteousness from that time on and forever!”
Who else could give humanity the hope that would be from then and forever, if not Jesus, the Son of the Living God, born of a virgin, just as the prophets wrote.
For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the greatness of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David’s throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the Lord Almighty will accomplish this.

That fulfillment of all the prophets wrote about, was to happen at the exact and right time, a “Kairos” moment it was to be as Paul wrote: But when the set time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law. (Galatians 4:4 NIV)
As the church let us ponder “Justice and righteousness, kingdom of God”- How do we understand our callings in light of these?
Make this advent season be the best one ever for you, your friends and family. Prepare your hearts and homes, start with the spiritual: prayer, share the joy, bring out the advent wreath and calendar, the tree and lights! Set out the manger scenes! Let us find time to have conversations about what these things mean for us today.
Christ is born: Christ Cometh!
