Paul Burgess
Interim, Justo & Catherine González Resource Center
Paul is in his third of four years at Columbia Theological Seminary in Decatur, Georgia, where he represents the Hispanic and Latinx Association (HALA). A native Californian, he spent several years teaching middle school English in Salt Lake City, Utah, before spending a year on the US-Mexico border serving families seeking asylum. He enjoys theater, refereeing football, and playing board games with his partner, Maggie. He is grateful for the opportunity to explore his identity as a Latino by putting a solid theology into the world under the mentorship of the González family and the AETH community.
