Capacity Building
This initiative aims to develop the administrative and management capacity of Bible institutes so that they have a strategic plan, financial policies, can evaluate and revise their curricular offerings according to their mission statement when necessary, and have informed and healthy boards of directors and instructors to guide them toward certification.
The project includes activities focused on pedagogies and assessment methods designed to develop critical thinking, leadership, management and organizational competence.
The grant covers three main areas of Bible institutes.
$21,000
A one-time grant of up to $21,000.00 per qualifying Bible institute will be awarded for capacity building in one or more of the following areas: software, library resources, board development, curriculum consultants, leadership and management training for directors, training for trainers, or the certification verification process.
Who qualifies?
Interested Bible institutes must meet the following criteria to qualify for this award:
- Active institutional membership in AETH.
- Have an established and functioning Board of Directors.
- Have a minimum of 40 students enrolled at the time of application.
- Demonstrate functionality and have at least 2 consecutive years of operation.
- Be an organization registered and operating in the United States or Puerto Rico.
