AETH and FRACEEV have signed a Memorandum of Understanding where they share the conviction that a central purpose of theological education is the formation of women and men to be able to serve the church and society in a relevant and effective way, guided by the values of the kingdom of God.
FRACEEV is the collegiate body of the evangelical church in Florida, composed of evangelical councils and institutions representing approximately 2,500 churches that work to serve spiritual and social needs and seek to promote and expand the unity of the kingdom.
In this regard, AETH and FRACEEV understand that the growth of Hispanic-Latino communities and effective advocacy ministries demand a level of collaboration that reaps greater rewards through theological education and community organizing than any one institution could achieve alone, and that future efforts must continue to prepare and send leaders for the various ministries in the life of the church and para-church organizations that serve among Hispanic-Latino communities.
The general purpose of this Memorandum of Understanding is to facilitate collaboration between AETH and FRACEEV for the development and implementation of programs and activities of common interest, for the exploration and development of quality continuing education for the benefit of present and new generations of Hispanic-Latino leaders in their service to the church and society.
